Driving Directions:

Take the Fall River Road exit from I-70 (exit 238). Head north on this paved road for 8.3 miles. Turn left onto Alice Road, and after 1 mile, turn right onto Steuart Road (Forest Service Road 7012). Drive or hike up this rough four-wheel-drive road for 2.2 miles to a parking area by Loch Lomond. 

Trailhead Conditions: Rough four-wheel-drive road beyond lower gate, lower gate opened.

Upper gate open. Road rough but in good condition. Accessible with high clearance 4wd.
