This is a very easy snowshoe route as the emphasis is on snowshoeing by the light of a full moon, enjoying everyone's company and then dinner afterwards in Estes Park.
I would expect we will be back to the Park-n-Ride no later than 10 PM.
I've done this trip several times over the last couple of years and it has always been fun. We will be using a series of trails in the Sprauge Lake area of RMNP.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the trip leader.
2:00 PM at the Highway 36 and Sheridan Blvd. Park-n-Ride. Map to meeting place will be provided.
If you have an Annual Pass to either RMNP or the National Parks, please bring it with you.
Required Equipment
Snowshoes for sure. Trekking poles and gaiters would be nice to have. Headlamp (with fresh batteries) although I usually encourage people to turn off their headlamps and just use the light from the full moon.
