Join me for a scenic, rolling lollipop ride to/around Aurora Reservoir! We'll ride primarily on cement paths and some wide sidewalks with only five stop lights and several underpasses along the way. On our ride we'll see Saddle Rock Golf Course, pretty neighborhoods, Aurora Reservoir, views of the eastern plains (and possibly some animals) and the Rocky Mountains. There may be paddle boarders, kayakers, sail boaters, along with lots of waterfowl at the Reservoir.
There are restrooms at the rec center, and several others spaced conveniently along our route.
Please feel free to bring snacks and/or lunch. We may consider having either at our halfway point (the Aurora Reservoir beach area) or the end, again depending on the weather.
Let's meet at the east end of the Trails Recreation Center parking lot (16799 E Lake Ave, Centennial, 80016). Sunrise will be at 7:02AM. I'm thinking that we'll start riding mid-late morning, depending on the weather forecast. I'll send an email 2-3 days before the ride with an exact time, along with a link to our meeting place. But FYI, it's on the southeast corner of Parker Rd and Orchard Rd.
