  • Mileage: 13.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 350 ft

Meet at 9:30 AM at the Waterton Canyon parking lot. Be ready to ride by 10:00 AM.

We'll ride from the parking lot up to the base of the dam and then back for a distance of about 13 miles. The pace for the ride will average about 12-14 mph. We often see some Bighorn Sheep along the trail.

The trail surface is gravel/dirt road and depending on the weather there could be some muddy spots.   Denver Water has some construction projects going on that may result in some construction vehicle traffic on the road.

There will be an optional lunch at the JPs Asian Bistro located a short drive from the parking lot at 8351 N Rampart Range Road, #101, Littleton (near the Safeway store).
