Bike – Wellington North Gravel Ride
Easy gravel bike tour north/west of Wellington, CO. 18.2 miles/450 ft. These are relatively flat, low traffic gravel roads. The ride is ~75% gravel/~25% pavement. Enjoy nice views of the foothills to the west, and the plains to the east. We might also see some raptors, as this is good terrain for them. This will be a no-drop ride at a moderate pace. Optional coffee in Wellington afterwards. I'll send out the gpx file shortly before the activity.

Meet at the Eyestone School, 4000 Wilson Ave., Wellington. Far north end of the parking lot, just to the east of the softball fields. We'll ride from there. Be ready to roll out at 0800 on 9/6.
Required Equipment
Gravel or MTB. You'll want tires at least 35mm/1.5in wide for the gravel roads. A road/hybrid bike with tires <35mm wide is NOT the bike for this ride. Contact the leader if you have questions about the suitability of your bike for this ride.
