Climb – Elevenmile Canyon

Half day ice climb at Camp Alexander in Eleven Mile Canyon. Cost is $30 per person.

This trip is being done in conjunction with the Pikes Peak Group BMS-Ice class.  This year's BMS Ice class is small, so will only need two out of the 10 pre-rigged ropes at any given time at Camp Alexander.  Cost is $30 per person.  Trip leader will collect the money in cash upon arrival or Venmo ahead of time (cell coverage is unreliable at the climbing wall).  Please only sign up if you are definitely attending.  We need to make sure we can cover the cost of the ice wall rental.

We will meet at Camp Alexander (near Lake George) at 8am.  We will climb till noon.

Required Equipment

Participants are responsible for providing their own personal gear (climbing ropes are already setup).  Required Personal Gear:  Eye protection, climbing helmet, harness, two locking carabiners (one must be a large HMS style), belay device, winter alpine-style boots, steel alpine or ice crampons, and ice tools.
