While this is open to all with a climbing background, participants who sport climb outside on single and multipitch routes, climb in areas where belaying from the top is common, or are interested in learning more about rope and rescue systems will benefit the most from attending.
We will discuss the decision making process for choosing and building different types of sport climbing anchors for both single and multipitch sport routes. We will discuss how to clean anchors from fixed gear safely and efficiently so the climber remains on belay while cleaning. Participants will have the ability to build and clean anchors in a vertical environment during this seminar.
This Seminar will take place at the CMC climbing wall on Thursday March 12th from 6 to 9 pm.
