4:00am-Let's meet at the Safeway in Estes Park:
451 E Wonderview Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517
We can form carpools and leave some vehicles here at the Safeway since the parking at Chapin Pass is limited and will fill up.
While it's only about 16 miles to Chapin Pass, Old Fall River Road is windy and slow going. Google Maps says it will take us 53 minutes to drive there.
Hopefully, we will be hiking close to 5am.
Required Equipment
Bring your 10 Essentials. Please let trip leader know if you don't know what these are.
A helmet and trekking poles may be a good idea as well.
