This will be a day of casual Ice climbing for individuals who have prior ice climbing experience. If you have not ice climbed before, taking the CMC's beginner ice climbing class would be a better place to start as we won't be doing instruction. At the start of the day we'll discuss where we want to climb in the park, but I expect that we'll start in the South Park area before moving elsewhere as a place to gauge the groups stamina and ability and move on from there.
This will be a sign-up via the leader trip as a means for me to coordinate what group gear is being brought (climbing rope, ice tools).

We will meet between 7:30 and 8:00 at the ice park entrance, parking at the switchback right before camp bird road crosses the ice park and passes the ice park entrance.
Required Equipment
Climbing helmet, Eye protection, Harness, Belay Device, Mountaineering Boots, Crampons.
Daypack with typical 10 essentials as we will be outside all day long.
Group gear (bring it if you have it, but not required for each participant)- Ice tools, climbing rope with anchor material
