Birding Hike: Join Norm Lewis author of "The Best Front Range Bird Hikes" for an informative hike at Rocky Mountain Arsenal . In the fall, numerous male ducks molt from drab plumage into their bright, colorful breeding plumage, which helps them attract mates for the upcoming breeding season.

There are a variety of birds to observe along this route. Pace will be relaxed with frequent stops for bird identification and observation.  We will do a variation of the hike he describes in the book on p 82.
