Hiking – Little Book Cliffs Wild Horse Area (Palisade)

We'll meet at 9:00 AM the Coal Canyon Trailhead in the Little Book Cliffs Wild Horse Area near Palisade, Colorado. The trailhead is located off of exit 46 off of I-70. The exit is for Cameo. We'll hike out and back in Main Canyon. The distance could be 5.0 to 10.0 miles, and elevation gain could be up to 800 feet (depending on how hikers are feeling!). If we are fortunate, we might see wild horses during the hike. The trails might be muddy.

 Since the trails might be muddy, it would be a good idea to bring along a plastic bag in which to place muddy hiking boots after the hike.
