Join us for a fun conditioning hike. We will have just returned from two months at sea level and this is one of our go-to hikes for re-acclimation to Colorado hiking. Better with friends!

We'll hike the most challenging, full loop this park offers. May see early wildflowers if the snow is gone long enough. The upper part of this trail feels like the far backcountry and other parts are along a beautiful small creek.
We'll send out a gpx route and map with our pre-trip email.
Meet at the Apex Trailhead, by the map, at 8:00 am. May change to an earlier time if the weather will be really hot.
The Apex TH is accessed by entering the parking area via a small driveway located just south of the Golden Fire Station No. 24. The Fire Station is located at 151 Heritage Rd, Golden, CO 80401, just north of the Heritage Rd x Colfax/40/93 intersection. Head all the way across the lot and park near the restrooms and TH.
