Hiking – Bard Peak

Please do not sign up without leader permission as you're name will be removed.  We do need to do a pace of about 1200ft/hr to avoid the group getting cold. 

Would love to have you on the hike if it is a good fit for you, hence the sign up with leader.  Please email a list of hikes that you have completed, in the last few months, of similar length and difficulty and with which leaders.

Dress appropriately at the start of the hike, snowshoe so that you will be relatively comfortable until  stops are made for clothing adjustments. All breaks WILL BE taken as a group to avoid multiple delays. Please carry back up clothing layers. MicoSpikes or equivalent and snowshoes are a must. Any medical issues you may have that could impact this group, please discuss with the leader PRIOR to the day of the trip.  Should you need to cancel your spot on this trip after the trip has closed, please contact the leader by txt. (no calls).

The leader will meet the group at the restroom/ parking lot at the Bakerville exit off I70 (Grays and Torreys exit near the chimney, south side of I70).

Carpool arrangements are the sole responsibility of the hike participants and are to be arranged by the participants.  (suggested carpool location -Front Range meeting location Wooly Mammoth Lot Exit 259, Section BB, across from the gas station). Bring, CASH for the driver, do not presume they have Venmo or equivalent.
