9 AM at the Luvs gas station 690 Doc Holliday Dr, Canon City, CO 81212 (google for directions)
We will carpool from there.
This is a wonderful and varied late fall hike with some (hopefully) fall foliage.
This is more difficult than the mileage indicates. Do not have early plans, as this will be a full day hike. We are usually back around 3-4 PM.
There are two stream crossing and some minor route finding.
We will have lunch at the high point and enjoy the views.
Poles, water-shoes & lunch are recommended.
We may tailgate afterwards. Bring snacks, chair and a beverage of your choice if you would like to join.
Required Equipment
Poles, water-shoes & lunch are recommended.
Bring tweezers & lunch if you have a furry friend. There will be some cactus.
