Who let the dogs out!!! Let's take a doggie walk around the Kountze Lake at the Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park in Lakewood. The area is populated with dozens of bird species, has historical early 20th century stores and buildings, great views of the front range peaks - all at a quiet urban park. We'll follow dirt and paved paths around the lake and take the various trails around the lake for a total of about 3.2 miles. This trip is for RMOTHG members only.

This is a dog hike (although participants are not required to being dos!). Leashes are required at all times. All dogs should have vaccinations up to date and be in good health.
