From the trailhead at 9800’ near Fraser, we will head up the road/ Bottle Peak trail to 11,100’ above the saddle between Byers and Bottle Peaks, bushwhack over to Ptarmigan (11772’) by way of Bottle Pass, loop back to ascend Bottle Peak (11581’), and head down to the saddle and trail back to the TH.
Each participant is expected to carry all 10+ Essentials.
I like to keep the whole group within yelling distance pretty much all the time, so if you are a free-spirited wanderer, this may not be the trip for you.

Leave from Wooly Mammoth lot section HH at 7am. Driving distance = 140 miles RT. Carpool = 140 x .30 = $42 per vehicle.
