Hiking – Boulder Open Space

Join us for sunrise at Teller Farm in Boulder. We’ll walk this out-and-back trail with excellent views of meadows and the front range, and we’ll pause for a moment of reflection as the sunlight touches the mountains.

The trail has gentle, rolling hills, no significant elevation gain, and a well-maintained path. We’ll move at a good pace (to stay warm), with minimal breaks. If you want “more workout”, wear a weighted pack.

Those of you doing the OSMP challenge, we’ll complete the Teller Farm, Teller Farm Spur and Teller Lake #5 trails. 

Plan for 2 hours.

After the hike, consider joining us at Jeannot’s Patisserie & Bistro in Lafayette.

Meet at 6:45am, dressed and ready for a 6:50 start. Sunrise is at 7:17am.

We’ll meet at the parking lot near Teller Lake #5, on Valmont Rd in Boulder. Exact location in pre-hike email.
