Hiking – Buffalo Peaks Wilderness

Let's celebrate outdoors.

This will be a fairly quick pace, we should average no less than 1.5 miles per hour with stops. Please plan accordingly and prepare ahead of time for stops during the hike. 

With 4WD, this can be a "family-friendly," short-mileage hike with some possible wildlife viewing and probably no one else on the peaks. Passenger car access can lengthen the overall mileage significantly depending on your willingness to abuse your vehicle. Lidar added 4 feet of elevation.

Meet at Safeway @ 7am on Thursday.

We'll try and file into 4x4 vehicles for a shorter hike. With the wet conditions / is there snow? We'll enjoy shorter mileage and maybe lunch / dinner in BV or the like.
