Hiking – Butler Gulch

We will be hiking up to the ridgeline in Butler Gulch. This trip is for Rocky Mountain Over The Hill Gang (RMOTHG) members only.

This is a beautiful hike, both within the trees and then above timberline. We will experience Colorado history at an old mine site and hopefully encounter some wildlife, as last year the weasels were abundant. 

The pace will be moderate throughout the hike.  As we ascend from the gulch up to the ridgeline, we will encounter a short but very steep section of trail, but the views from the ridgeline are well worth the extra effort.
