Capitol Ditch Trail

Trip

Hiking – Capitol Ditch Trail

You've never hiked the Capitol Ditch trail until you've experienced it with the fall colors. Starting from the Capitol Creek trailhead, we'll hike along the old ditch that runs several hundred feet above Capitol Creek. We'll follow the trail to its end at Capitol Creek; from there we'll return the same way. Fall colors should be spectacular with a lightly snow-covered Capitol Peak as a backdrop.
