Hiking – Place Holder Planning Trip. Sq Top (13780ft) , Argentine Pk (13738 ft) , Wilcox starting at Guanella Pass ending at Naylor Lake parking lot. Approx 4100ft and 12 miles.

Please DO NOT sign up without leader permission, you will automatically be removed from the hike. This is not a class or a training exercise.  Helmets required as I am unsure how loose the decent from Sq Top to the saddle is - better safe than sorry.

Please make the leader aware if you need a clothing adjustment or snack break as all breaks WILL BE taken as a group to avoid multiple delays. Please dress appropriately so that you will be relatively comfortable until group stops are made for clothing adjustments. CMC covid rules will be followed, if unsure of the rules please check the CMC website.  Any medical conditions that may impact the group, please discuss with the leader prior to the day of the scramble.  Should you need to cancel your spot on this trip, please contact the leader  by txt or email.

Wooly Mammoth exit 259 section BB at 0530 hrs. Across from the gas station. A parking lot leader will be necessary. We will leave one car at the Naylor Lake parking area and the other at Guanella pass parking area. (shuttle 4 - 6 miles).

The leader has not done this route in the past so this trip is EXPLORATORY. If you are iffy about doing this trip, waiting for something better or feel there is a good chance you will cancel please do not sign up until the day before the hike.  Leaders and participants block their days off for these activities and do not want to have a wasted day due to cancelations. Less than 3 on the roster per CMC rules the trip will need to be canceled.
