Hiking – Caribou Ranch Open Space

In the shadow of the Continental Divide and close to Nederland, Caribou Ranch offers a variety of landscapes including forests, meadows, wetlands, and the historic Bluebird mining complex. This trip is for RMOTHG members only.

This is a lollipop trip with a small but steep spur trail to the Bluebird Mine Complex. We'll enter on the Dedonde Trail and go by the Dedonde Homestead then up to the mine and a little beyond where there's a picnic table for our lunch/snacks.  If we hit it right there should be some good foliage.  

Meet at the north side of the American Mountaineering Center at 8am for an 8:10am start.  Ignore the signs that ask you to pay for parking; that does not apply to CMC hikers.
