Hiking – Catamount Ranch - Elder-Fehn Trail
This trip starts at the Catamount Ranch Open Space and will be an out-and-back hike including an ascent of Raspberry Mountain, with incredible views of Pikes Peak, The Sangre de Cristo mountains, the Collegiate Peaks, the Mosquitos and the Tarryalls. We will take the Elder Fehn Trail, and turn off to head up Raspberry Mountain, returning along the Elder Fehn Trail.

This is an exploratory hike. The leader has hiked Elder Fehn Trail and summitted Raspberry Mountain from the West, but has never summitted Raspberry Mountain from the East.
This hike will be a combination of easy trail surfaces, steep social trails, some crossing of downed trees and light scrambling to the summit of Raspberry Mtn. Although it is a moderate hike it still requires good fitness, having the right equipment for the elements and some experience with off trail footing.
