This will be approximately a 14 mile moderately-paced hike.  There are some variations to the route and some decisions on which path to take will be made onsite, based on conditions.

We will travel and take breaks as a group. The plan is to start on the Talon Trail and connect to the Dixon Trail up to Dragon's Backbone. Along the way, you’ll be able to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Please read the length and elevation gain and make sure you have experience at this level before signing up.

Priority will be given to Pikes Peak group members.

We'll meet at the Talon Trailhead in the Limekiln parking lot at Cheyenne State Park at 7:30am for a short trip briefing and then hit the trail.
