Meet at the Crested Butte Visitors Center 7am; look for the Gecko Green Jeep Rubicon with a Golden Retriever, or coordinate with the leader for an alternate meeting place.

This Green lake, sitting below Mt Axtell (12,055') is accessed from the Town of CB Ice Rink. I mile from visitor center. The route follows a combination of roads and trails before becoming trail only before reaching the lake which sits in a pretty basin at 10, 613'. Well-behaved, leashed dogs, capable of a hike of this nature are welcome
