We will meet at the Fort Collins Welcome Center, 3745 E. Prospect Rd., at 8:00 a.m.  From here we will carpool via I-25 and Happy Jack Road west of Cheyenne to the Curt Gowdy State Park (approx. 1 hour).  Daily entrance fee is $12/vehicle, so a ride share of $10 is the plan.

We will explore a beautiful section of the 3,395 acre Curt Gowdy State Park, Wyoming, which will include well maintained trails along an inlet, creeks, stunning rock outcroppings, and a gushing waterfall.  This will be a 5-mile hike, starting at the Granite Springs Reservoir along the Crow Creek trail and returning along the MoRocka and Foxtrail route.  We will negotiate the boulders to the trails' end where we will enjoy a refreshing hidden waterfall and our lunch.  The elevation gain is moderate at approximately 500'.  Bring your essentials, water, lunch, raingear, and insect repellant for ticks.  This will be a wonderful spring hike!
