A great hike along Anthracite Creek to Dark Canyon. We'll aim for Devil's Staircase if conditions are good, otherwise it will be less than a 9 mile hike with less elevation gain.
Meet to leave at 7am at the public lot west of Autozone Montrose OR 7:30am at the northeast end of the Safeway parking lot in Delta OR 8:30am at the trailhead in Erikson Springs Campground, CO 133 to CO 12, 6 miles south. Please let leader know where you'll be meeting us for carpooling purposes.
