Hiking – Flying J Ranch
The Flying J Ranch Park is one of Jefferson County's newest. It offers a loop hike through the woods with little elevation gain. As in all JC open spaces, there are no fees and the trails are well marked.

We will meet at Hampden and Wadsworth P&R on the East side of the lot. From there we will drive to U.S, 285 to Conifer. From the gas station (bathroom stop) we turn right onto Colorado 73. Go 1.1 miles, then turn left on Shadow Mt. Park on the right near the South TH signboard.
We might need snowshoes and/or micro spikes, depending on the snow conditions.
