Hiking – Genesee Park

Enjoy ~10 miles and 3.9'k of gain while following a flowing and frozen creek, wonderful views of Clear Creek Canyon, the snow capped ranges, and Denver while staying mostly out of the wind. Out and back on trail.

Good Balance and Stability are essential on this hike: You should not need hiking poles to negotiate rocks. If you need hiking poles to step up or down rocks or other small obstacles then this is not the proper hike for you and the leader may ask that you check out of the hike. Hiking poles are ok, just not if needed for balance or support at all times.

Final details to be sent out night prior, however plan on 8:30 am leave from Wooley Mammoth.
