Bathrooms are available at the visitor center. We will carpool or you can drive your own vehicle from the visitor center to the Bootleg Bottom trail head. From visitor center to the trailhead is approximately 3 miles.

Small easy scrambling section. If you are not comfortable with scrambling this trip might not be for you. Some steep sections where poles might be helpful.

Meet at 7:15 AM at Golden Gate State Park Visitors Center. From Hwy 93 head west on Golden Gate Canyon Rd 9 miles to Crawford Gulch Rd and turn right. 

All vehicles need a Colorado State Park Pass through their car registration or purchase a daily pass at the visitor center.
