From a parking area off Cty Rd 126 about 1 mile south of Kelsey Campground, we will bushwhack off-trail all the way to the summit.

From a parking area off about 1 mile south of Kelsey Campground, we will bushwhack off-trail all the way to the summit. We will return by the same route. This will be a navigation exercise for the group to pick a safe and efficient route to the summit.
Each participant is expected to carry all 10+ Essentials. I like to keep the whole group within yelling distance pretty much all the time, so if you are a free-spirited wanderer, this may not be the trip for you.
Note - Social stop at Snowpack in Conifer apre hike.
