Hiking – Heizer Trail

Think of the Heizer Trail as the Manitou Incline without the railroad ties and the crowds. After topping out we'll wander into the woods for a mile or so to find a spot with a view of Pikes/Tava to have a snack before returning.

Probably meet up at the Westside Safeway to carpool up Ute Pass to Cascade in time to start hiking by 7 a.m., so 6:15 a.m. or so Details to follow. Hope to lasso another leader in case work gets in the way for the primary leader.

Steep with lots of that Pikes Peak granite gravel we all love to slip on so bring your poles.
