Hiking – High Line Canal
This walk will take us from Fly'n B Park 4.8 miles north along the canal to where it intersects S Elati Street in Littleton. It is hike #5 of 14 hiking segments along the canal. It covers segments 6 and 7 of the Highline Canal Guidebook, roughly mile 15.5 to mile 20.5. If you are new to the area, want to stay active this winter, avoid I-70 traffic, or just enjoy walking the canal, come join us. We'll be walking most Fridays.

From the starting point at the Fly'n B park, we'll head north under C-470 and around Mclellan reservoir, passing the Bennett flume. The canal continues past Writer's Vista Park, the Mineral Avenue Railroad spur, Jackass Hill, and Heritage High School. Our hike ends at S Elati Street. This walk covers segments 6 and 7 in the Highline Canal guidebook, and is about 4.8 miles. One or more drivers will take the carpool drivers back to their cars after the hike.
We will meet at 8:50 at 7595 S. Elati St., Littleton, CO 80120 for 9am departure. Park on the street but don't block any driveways. We are meeting at the end point of the hike and will carpool to the starting point at Fly'n B park. There is a restroom at the park if needed before we start hiking.
