We’ll then head to the Hampden and Colorado Blvd underpasses, enter the City and County of Denver, and end at Mamie D Eisenhower Park. This walk covers segments 12, 13 and 14 in the Highline Canal guidebook, and is about 7.7 miles. We walk at about 2.5 to 3 miles per hour, so even though the hike is easy for distance and elevation, it is not a slow hike. One or more drivers will take the carpool drivers back to their cars after the hike.
We’ll meet at 8:50 at Mamie D Eisenhower Park, 4300 E Dartmouth, Denver 80222 for 9am departure. There is a restroom at the park so come early if you need to use it before we depart.
