From the starting point at Mamie D Eisenhower Park we'll head east past a commemorative bench, cottonwood critters and under I-25. Then to Bible Park, Goldsmith Gulch, 2 crossings of Yale Ave and onward to the confluence of Cherry Creek, the Highline Canal, and the end of our hike. This walk covers segments 15 and 16 in the Highline Canal guidebook, and is about 7.5 miles. We walk at about 2.5 to 3 miles per hour, so even though the hike is easy for distance and elevation, it is not a slow hike. One or more drivers will take the carpool drivers back to their cars after the hike.
We will meet at 8:50 at 9250 Cherry Creek S Dr, Denver CO 80231 for 9am departure. Park along the street but do not block driveways.
