Hiking – Highline Canal North from Orchard Rd
We will take a leisurely walk Northbound from Orchard Road parking lot of Highline Canal to enjoy Christmas lights in Greenwood Village Preserve. Walk will be on pavement.

micro spikes may be beneficial if there has been icy snow storm.
We will meet at the Highline trail trailhead on Orchard Rd 8/10 mi west of Holly St on Orchard Rd at 5pm. You will see parking lot on right with bathrooms. There is big walk light at the parking lot.
We will follow the Highline canal for 1.6 mi north before turning right (south on a straight trail connecting to Preserve Parkway N, then turn left East. We will stay on Preserve Pkwy N to it connection to Preserve Parkway S, then take a short trail back to the cars. We will walk about 4 miles.
If desired we can extend it further if desired by going south on the Highline Canal. All are invited to attend. Coleader will bring hot cocoa & refreshments. Others may bring snacks to share also.
