Let's meet at 9 am at the parking area just Hwy. 67, south of the old Midland Railroad Tunnel. This parking lot is several miles north of Cripple Creek and approximately 6 1/2 miles south of the junction of Hwy. 67 and Hwy. 24. Please bring your ten essentials including warm layers, ice walkers/microspikes, gaiters, rain gear, at least 2 quarts/liters of water, and ample food for snacks and lunch.
***If heavy snow occurs before the scheduled hike, this hike will become a snowshoe. You'll then need to bring snowshoes.
***If anyone needs to carpool, please contact me at least one day before the hike. I could then pick you up at the Woodland Park Safeway.
