Let's meet at 9 am at the parking area just Hwy. 67, south of the old Midland Railroad Tunnel. This parking lot is several miles north of Cripple Creek and approximately 6 1/2 miles south of the junction of Hwy. 67 and Hwy. 24. Please bring your ten essentials including warm layers, gaiters, rain gear, at least 2 quarts/liters of water, ample food for snacks and lunch, and possibly ice walkers/microspikes should conditions warrant.
***If anyone needs to carpool, please contact me at least one day before the hike. I could then pick you up at the Woodland Park Safeway, 1101 E US Hwy 24, Woodland Park, CO 80863 at approximately 8:15 am.
