Lake Park Peak is in the Lost Creek Wilderness and is part of the Tarryall Mountains. Its steep north face forms the south wall of Lake Park. The peak has two summits with our goal, the western summit, being slightly higher. We will approach the summit from the northwest side which is a bushwhack from the Lake Park Trail to a point below the saddle between the two peaks. From here we will go to the saddle on then to the western summit.
**Although the leader has done this route numerous times, it has been a few years so expect a little adventure.**
