This is the 1st of 3 days of hiking for a midweek Lake City hiking extravaganza and is exploratory for the leader. Book your own lodging/camping. Today's hike is on our arrival day and is an easy/moderate ramble paralleling 149, exploratory for leaders. Option to explore part of the alpine loop by car and the town of Lake City before or after the hike.

Meet at the parking lot of the Lake City ski hill at 1pm (it's on google maps).
