Hiking – Lincoln Mountain Overlook Trail
A 3 hour easy hike up to and around Lincoln Mountain (Mesa) that lies between Larkspur and Parker in Douglas County. The trail up makes several switchbacks that makes the gradient easier. The trail is pebbly in sections, so hiking poles are suggested. Benches along the trail. Two porta-potties are at the trailhead's very large parking lot.

Car Pooling is optional. The driving distance is 43 miles and takes 1 hour from the intersection I-25 and Hampden Avenue. I will ask as Friday gets closer one's preference as I do need to know who might be driving themselves and to give them the driving directions. For those car pooling, we will meet at 9:00 (leaving at 9:15) in the parking lot of Calvary Baptist Church at 6500 E Girard Av, 80224. I have permission to use their lot. To get there, drive East on Hampden from I-25 to Monaco, turn left and an immediate right to the church and their parking lot East of their building. If needed, I can let you in to use their lavatory.
