Hiking – Little Scraggy Trail Loop
This scenic 12.3-mile loop through Pike National Forest will take us through meadows and woodlands offering magnificent views of Pikes Peak and surrounding wilderness. This is a Trailblazer activity, other CMC members welcome pending availability.

This 12.3 mile loop comes with 1,601 feet of gain. It should take us about 6 hours to complete which is a majority of the day. Please plan to stay together with the group for the full time if you sign up. We will go at a light to moderate pace adjusting for needs of the group. Micro spikes will most likely be needed given our recent weather. I will monitor conditions throughout the week to determine if we need snowshoes.
If the group wishes, we will stop for an after-hike dinner and beverage. Suggested stop is Snowpack Taproom 27175 Main St, Conifer, CO 80433
For those wishing to carpool we will meet at the Morrison Park and Ride (3485 S Rooney Rd, Morrison, CO 80465) at 8am. Please be on time. Hike will start around 9am at the trailhead.
For those planning to meet at trailhead we will park near the Decker's Rd and Redskin Creek Rd intersection for free street parking.
