Hiking – Lookout Mountain - Golden
This hike is a one-way tour de Lookout Mountain. We'll set up a shuttle and hike from Chimney Gulch up to Lookout, then down through Apex Park ending at the Apex Trailhead. Get some good hill climbing and miles in without driving far.

I'll email participants specifics, but we'll be meeting at one trailhead and then consolidating cars and shuttling from there. Plan to meet in Golden at 7 am. These trails are popular on weekends, so we need to snag parking.
This will be a fun shuttle hike to get us back into hiking season. Pace will vary, but expect a moderate pace without a lot of breaks. We will stop for a picnic midmorning snack at the top of the mountain.
I don't anticipate needing any kind of traction, but will send an email with trail and weather conditions in advance.
We will try to fit the group into two cars for the shuttle.
