Hiking – Maroon Snowmass Trail
This is an exploratory trip. I secured a midnight to midnight permit for one car. This will be an overnight drive starting around 1:00am from the Golden area to get to the trailhead for an Alpine start. It will be an almost 4 hour drive to shoot for a 5:00am start. This is an exploratory trip. If you were not able to make the Four Pass Loop this year this is an opportunity to hike in the Snowmass wilderness on a shorter route. However, this is a day hike and we will need to cover the approximately 12 miles with about 3,800 feet of elevation in one day.

We will meet at the Fort at 1:00am to arrange for carpooling. I only have a permit for one vehicle. If not interested on carpooling (I am willing to drive), you can arrange for your own transportation, parking, permit, and meet us at the trailhead at 5:00am boots on and ready to go. This is 180 miles away aprox. X 2 =360*.30/4= aprox $27 per person.
