Hiking – Mayhem Gulch

This is the first of THIS series of Ascending Hikes conditioning hikes. This gently climbing trail ascends 900 ft with a pleasant loop in the trees on top. Our pace will reflect the purpose of conditioning for the season of upcoming ascending hikes. This hike will be at a pace that you select between 2.2 and 2.5 mph that stretches your endurance.

Meet at the CMC parking lot in Golden at 8:30 A.M for an 8:40 A.M. departure.  We will carpool up Hwy 6 to the Mayhem Gulch trail head. The trailhead is 10.5 miles up hwy 6 outside of Golden.
