Hiking – RMOTHG - Meyers Homestead Trail in Walker Ranch Open Space

For ROCKY MOUNTAIN OVER THE HILL GANG  members only.  This trail is located in the NW area of Walker Ranch Open Space.  This will be a pleasant hike through some meadows, skirting along forest area and along some rock outcrops.  Some historic landmarks will be visible and, weather permitting, some views to the west of beautiful mountain peaks.  Hopefully we will also see some wildlife.

Please inform the leader prior to day of hike by email or text of any past or present medical/health conditions that could affect you on this hike.

I will send out an email to the roster the day before the hike with weather forecast, mileage, directions, any additional gear needed, and any other pertinent information for the hike.

MEETING PLACE:

CMC building located at 710 10th Street, Golden.  Park in the lot directly east of the building.

MEETING TIME:  8:30 a.m. PLEASE ARRIVE a few minutes early to arrange carpools.
