Hiking – Mount Falcon

Hike Mt Falcon to Walker's Dream Trail: 6.8 miles, 1,579 feet elevation gain. Starting from the Mt Falcon East Parking Area proceed west .1 mile then turn SW onto the Hiker Only Turkey Trot Trail for 1.7 miles climbing steadily with good views of Red Rocks and Mt Morrison. Joining the intersection with Castle Trail continue West for 1.2 miles to a covered picnic pavilion, at the intersection with Walker's Dream turn North for .4 mile to arrive at the remnants of the effort to create a summer white house on Mt Morrison. Grand views along this last segment of trail of both the eastern plains and the continental divide to the west.
