This hike will follow established trails.  We will start on Castle Trail and take a short side trail to visit the site of the proposed Summer White House.  We will then stop at the Castle ruins for a break and snack if desired.  We will follow Castle Trail and then take the Turkey Trot Trail on the way back.

This trail offers some beautiful views of the surrounding area.

As this is a summer hike, ensure you bring enough water for the trip.  THere are bathrooms at both ends of the trail.  The hike up Castle Trail does not offer much shade, but Turkey Trot on our way down is more shaded.
