Currently do not expect that we will need snowshoes to reach School of the Mines Peak. We DO need to be able to hike at a pace of 1000 ft per hour to keep ahead of afternoon thunder storms. Please ensure that pace works for you.
All clothing adjustments and snack breaks will be taken as a group to allow for efficient travel. Any medical conditions that may impact the group, please discuss with the leader prior to the day of the scramble. Should you need to cancel your spot on this trip, please contact the leader.
Wooly Mammoth exit 259 section BB at 6am sharp. Across from the gas station. The co-leader will meet you there.
The primary - leader will meet participants at the restrooms in Empire at 630 am.
May need snowshoes- TBD. 10 essentials and lots of water.
