Hiking – North Tenmile Creek Trail to Wichita Mountain

The leader has done this route to Wichita in the past, hopefully this trip will involve less bush whacking if we can follow the route which looks best on satellite. To continue the excitement the decent from Wichita will be exploratory as a large avalanche went through this area about 6 years ago. Basically if you are looking for a  challenging trip this might be a good fit for you, if you are looking for a walk around Wash park, maybe not.

Please make the leader aware if you need a clothing adjustment or snack break as all breaks WILL BE taken as a group to avoid multiple delays. Please dress appropriately so that you will be relatively comfortable until group stops are made for clothing adjustments. Any MEDICAL conditions you may have that might IMPACT the group, please discuss with the leader PRIOR to the day of the trip.  Should you need to cancel your spot on this trip after the trip has closed, please contact the leader by txt.

Suggested front range meeting location for carpool, Wooly Mammoth lot exit 259 ,section BB across from the gas station at 0615 hrs. The leader will meet the group at the trail head at 0730 hrs. Participants are responsible for arranging car pool to the TH.
